Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need an AWRS number?
Currently, the BMS is only available to registered UK breweries. ViewPlan only requires you to submit publicly available information to download the BMS. Your details are used purely by ViewPlan to record which breweries have downloaded our BMS. Details that you provide will not be shared with any third party, nor will they be used for marketing purposes. You will only receive communications from ViewPlan relating to the BMS.
Are all functions available in the free version?
The free version has 90% of the functionality that was available in the previous 'paid for' version. The only functions that are not available are the Mobile Web app and third party integrations. Once you've been using the system for a while you can request these functions to be made available - ViewPlan will review each request on a case by case basis.
What about user support?
ViewPlan does not officially provide direct user support for the BMS. The system has a comprehensive User Guide that provides information on all functions of the system. However, if you're really stuck, we will try to help out when & if we can - you can submit support requests and receive replies directly within the system.
What about version updates?
The BMS is periodically updated by ViewPlan. Updates are made available directly via the BMS and are FREE to download & install when available.

The short answer is - we're nice people!
We've been working with the brewing industry for over 15 years and it's great to be able to contribute to the success of other businesses. We're not out to rule the world nor fund extravagant lifestyles. The BMS has served us & our customers well over the years and we're simply now in a position to be able to offer a helping hand to those in the brewing community who are in need of a business management system - it's that simple!
